Albert R. Pelletier 59, of Ascension St. died Wednesday at Landmark Medical Center. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of Helen (Derycke) Pelletier of Blackstone and the late Raymond R. Pelletier. Albert was a cashier at Walmart before retiring in December 2009 due to illness. He had previously worked for Dennison Manufacturing for twenty eight years. Albert served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War aboard the aircraft carrier the USS Forestall.
Besides his mother, he is survived by a brother Raymond H. Pelletier of Millville. He was also the brother of the late Richard Pelletier.
His funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Saint Paul's Church, Saint Paul St., Blackstone. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery in Blackstone. Visiting Hours are Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Paul's Endowment Fund, 48 Saint Paul St. Blackstone, MA 01504-2291 in his memory would be appreciated.
