WORCESTER-Claire M. (Foster) Anderson, 88, of Worcester, died Tuesday, March 16th in the Christopher House. Her husband, Thomas O. Anderson died in 1970. She leaves four sons, Michael O. Anderson and his wife Mary of Worcester, Phillip D. Anderson and his wife Jacqueline of Auburn, Stephen F. Anderson and his wife Mary of Templeton and Matthew T. Anderson of Worcester; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, the daughter of Arthur and Marguerite (Harrington) Foster. She was a graduate of the former High School of Commerce. Mrs. Anderson was a ward clerk for Fairlawn Hospital until her retirement in 1985. She was a former member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
Funeral services and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
