Obituary

WORCESTER
Elsie R. (Marsoobian) Frankian, 86, of Worcester died Wednesday, March 17 in Holy Trinity Nursing Center.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Jacob “Jake” Frankian; two children, Michael P. Frankian and his wife, Jody and Jean M. Frankian all of Overland Park, Kansas; two grandchildren, Brian Frankian and Ashley Frankian both of Lawrence, Kansas; two sisters, Florence Eknoian and Alice Marsoobian both of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Jack Marsoobian and a sister, Gladys Maghakian predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of George “Kevork” and Gadar (Vorparian) Marsoobian and graduated from Worcester Girls Trade School.
Elsie was a dietician at Memorial Hospital for 46 years, retiring several years ago. She was a member of Holy Trinity Apostolic Church and active in the Women’s Guild, the Seniors Group, and all church actives and affairs.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Drs. Tanguay and Dellrosaio for all their loving care.
The funeral will be held Saturday, March 20 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Funeral Service at 10 AM in Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, 615 Grove St. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Friday, March 19 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. A Dahngark Service will be held during visiting hours.
