William R. Easton, Sr. 73 years old of Brockton died Monday March 15, 2010 at his home. He was the loving and devoted husband of Anna M. (Conley) Easton. Born and raised in Brockton, he was a son of the late John B. and Clara T. (Jumpe) Easton and remained a lifelong resident of the city. Bill was an automobile reconditioner for several local dealerships. He was an avid guitar player who enjoyed singing and playing country music. He also enjoyed reconditioning old cars.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Mary Todd of Kansas City, KA, William Easton, Jr., Teresa Lelakes and Jean Gaudette and her husband Fred all of Brockton, 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was the brother of Edward Easton of W. Bridgewater, Ruth Kelleher of Brockton, Dorothy Waters of NY, Robert Easton of FL and the late Richard, Russell, Leroy and Alton Easton and Lorraine Murphy. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday at 11am with visitation an hour prior 10-11am. Burial at a later date. Bill’s family extends their thanks to Evercare Hospice.
