Robert E. Penney, 58 of Medford formerly of Brookline died Sunday at home after a brief illness.
Born in Maine, he was the son of the late Thomas and Violet (Dunham) Penney.
Robert was a Mechanic, employed by Red Cab/Baystate in Brookline.
Robert was the beloved husband of Marie G. (Valente) Penney. Devoted father of Kristine Penney of Framingham, stepfather of John Lee of Newburyport, James Lee and Elisa Lee both of Medford. Also survived by Three loving grandchildren. Brother of Thomas Penney, Hazel Stitson, Maxinne Flint all of Maine, Donald Penney of Tennessee and the late Raymond Penney.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 AM in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford the Rev. Dickson officiating. Interment will be Private.
Friends may visit Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 – 9 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations may be sent to a Charity of One´s Choice.
