FALL RIVER - Joseph F. Nadeau, 90, of Westport, died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Catholic Memorial Home. Born in Saybec, Quebec he was the son of the late Jean B. and Emerilda (Richard) Nadeau.
He was formerly employed by the United States Government as a medical assistant until his retirement. Mr. Nadeau was a WWII veteran in The U.S. Airforce. He is survived by a brother: Normand Nadeau of Westport, 2 sisters: Anne Marie Greenhalgh of Westport and Jeanne St. Laurent of Swansea; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Gertrude Greenhalgh, Emerille, Albert, Elphege and Joseph I. Nadeau.
Funeral services are under the direction of Potter Funeral Home, 81 Reed Road, Westport. All services will be private.
