Marcel R. Tellier 57, of Roland St., died Friday at Landmark Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Woonsocket, a son of Anna (Vandal) Tellier and the late Jean M. Tellier Sr. Marcel was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a boiler technician for Energy Technology for fifteen years.
Besides his mother he is survived by two daughters; Renee Andrews of Woonsocket, and Evelina Barbosa of Cumberland, three step daughters, Melody Paul of Burrillville, Harley Arkin of Woonsocket, and Faye O'Connor of ME, a brother, Jean M. Tellier Jr. of Nashua , NH, two sisters; Helene Brann of Woonsocket, and Lorraine Tokarski of Woonsocket, and six grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
