Frances Marion Alton Waller, 89, of Ty Ty died Saturday, March 13, 2010, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Jim Duggan will officiate with burial to follow at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro. Clay Kelley, Caleb Douglas, Stephen Martens, Kevin Martens, Dustin Martens and Jordan Martens will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, March 15, 2010, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Waller was born on November 5, 1920 in Griffin and was the daughter of Walter Alton and Irene Alton, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Emory Spear Waller; two brothers; three sisters; and one grandson, Lance Waller. She was a homemaker and a member of Ty Ty Baptist Church.
Mrs. Waller is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Walt and Genene Waller of Ty Ty, Jerry and Ruth Waller of Villa Rica and Tommy Waller of Langley, South Carolina; eight grandchildren including, Robin Short, Debbie Griffin, Tammy Waller, Sabrina Douglas, Heather Darr, Shelley Owen, Clay Kelley and April Dashiell; 12 great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
