Isabelle “Bella” (Landry) Zapar, 91, of Hudson, died Friday, March 12th at Whittier Rehab Hospital in Westboro. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Zapar in 1993.
She was born in Hudson, daughter of the late Edmond and Regina (Daigneault) Landry and was a 1935 graduate of the former Saint Charles High School in Waltham. Bella was employed as a Medical Secretary for many years for Dr. Kenneth Greenleaf until retiring in 1982. She was a member of the former Christ King Parish in Hudson, member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson, a member of the Hudson Emblem Club and member of the Marlborough Hospital Auxiliary.
She is survived by her nephew, Edmond David Landry of Hudson; her niece, Ann Marie Heinonen of Maynard and many cousins. She was the sister of the late Edmond Landry of Salisbury Beach.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday March 15th at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning Street, Hudson. Burial will follow in Forestvale Cemetery, Hudson.
