Lucy Jobbagy, 77

Lucy (LaSalvia) Jobbagy, 77, of Mansfield formerly of Norwood passed away on Monday March 8, 2010 at the Highgate Manor in Dedham. She was the beloved wife of the late Andrew J. Jobbagy.
Born in Norwood, MA on September 9, 1932 she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Philomena (Mastrangelo) LaSalvia.
Lucy grew up in South Norwood and was educated in Norwood public schools. In addition to being a dedicated homemaker to her loving family she had also worked for over 5 years at the Savogran Co. in Norwood.
A resident of Mansfield for over 10 years, Mrs. Jobbagy was a former longtime resident of Norwood and while residing in Norwood she had attended St. George’s Catholic Church.
Lucy’s family was the essence of her life and she especially loved spending time with her cherished grandchildren.
She is survived by her devoted daughters Sheila A. McGrady and her husband Adam of Taunton and Charlotte J. Falkner and her husband Sean of Mansfield. She was the dear sister of the late Angelo LaSalvia, Leonard LaSalvia, Jerry LaSalvia, Marie Spezio and Annie McGuinness and is also survived by her loving granddaughters Sarah Falkner, Taylor Falkner and Shannon McGrady as well as many nieces and nephews.
In respect and honor of Lucy’s wishes there will be no funeral service or visiting hours. Donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to visit and share with the family at an informal gathering at the home of Charlotte and Sean Falkner 6 Plowshare Court in Mansfield on Friday March 12, 2010 beginning at 2:00 P.M.
