Obituary

FRANKLIN—Jacqueline A. (Weagle) Assad 68, of Franklin, died Monday March 8, 2010 at Milford Regional Medical Center following a long illness. She was the wife of Kenneth J. Assad.
Born in Worcester, February 25, 1942 a daughter of the late Warren & Rita (Parker) Weagle, she had lived in Worcester before moving to Franklin 40 years ago.
Educated in Worcester schools she was a retired homemaker.
She enjoyed traveling, cooking, spending time with her family, and followed all her grandchildren’s sporting events.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens and St. Mary’s Church.
In addition to her husband of 49 years she is survived by two sons; Ken J. Assad and his wife Maryellen of Franklin, and Brian K. Assad and his wife Pia of Millis a daughter; Jane R. Borkowski and her huisband Michael of Franklin, two brothers; James Weagle of Warren, Ma, and Warren Weagle of Worcester a sister Thomasine Surabian of Worcester. Also surviving are her grandchildren; Alicia Borkowski, Kelsey Assad, Amy Assad, Alec Borkowski, Adam Assad, Nicholas Assad and Jake Assad and many nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Mary Desjardins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thursday March 11, 2010 at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, (www.oterifuneralhome.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours are Wednesday March 10th from 5-9PM.
