Deolinda “Dot” (Marques) Pacheco, age 88 of Fall River passed away March 6, 2010. She was the widow of Joseph L. Pacheco and daughter of the late Joao and Antonia (Tavares) Marques. She was the step daughter of Maria Conceicao Marques. Mrs. Pacheco resided in Westport since 1964 and was a retired sewing machine operator at Shelburne Shirt Co., Sagamore Shirt Co. and Joe Pine Co. She was a parishioner of St. George Church.
She was mother of Louise Soares and Dee Le Page, both of Westport; sister of Evelyn Marques and Idalina Da Luz, both of Fall River and the late William and Victor Cordeiro, Gil and John Marques, Irene Lopes, Joanna Medeiros and Antonia Martin and grandmother of 5 grandchildren: Sherry, Wendy, Julie, Kim and Robert and 1 late grandchild Jeffrey and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Tuesday 4 to 8 P.M. Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St. Wednesday at 7:45 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. George Church, Highland Ave., Westport at 9 A.M. Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery.
