Melissa A. (Laplume) Kane, 39 of Summer St., Pascoag, died Wednesday in Landmark Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Scott Kane. Melissa was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Emile Laplume and Linda Leduc-Gervais. She was a self-employed jewelry maker for J&M Jewelry.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Samantha and Allison, a brother, Danny Laplume of Hampton NH, and a sister, Jeanne McKinnon of Blackstone.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday 5-7 PM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St., Woonsocket. Funeral services and burial will be private.
