David E. Wood, 76 of Westport died Friday, March 5, 2010 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Westport, son of the late Carlton C. and Emma H. (Remington) Wood, he was a lifelong resident of Westport. His interest included vacationing in Lake Winnipesauke, NH, spending time with his family and trips to Foxwoods.
He is survived by a sister: Thais E. Lowden of Westport. Mr. Wood will be greatly missed by his nephew Donald and his nieces Debra, Cindy, Carla and Jannel. He also leaves behind great nieces and nephews and many friends.
He was brother of the late Carlton Wood, Jr.
Private arrangements will be held at the convenience of the family.
