Marc R. Allain, 45, of New Bedford passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday March 3, 2010. He was the husband of Mary Allain.
Born in New Bedford, he lived in this area all of his life.
Marc worked for various manufacturers in New Bedford.
He enjoyed competitive sports.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Joyce Centeio and her husband Gregory; his father Robert Allain and his wife Marie; a sister, Tracey Correia; his grandmother, Noella Dias; three stepchildren, Shawna, Meghan, and Kristin Almeida; a step-sister, Paula Centeio-Mahmoud; a step-brother, Gregory P. Centeio, II; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Almeida; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. His family will receive visitors on Wednesday from 10-11 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the charity of one's choice.
