Obituary

BEVERLY: Cynthia (Chase) Kalman, 80, resident of Landmark at Oceanview, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 in the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of Stanley Kalman.
Born in Boston on July 10, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Goldie (Indorf) Chase. She had resided in Natick for forty-four years before moving to Beverly this past year.
Cynthia prided herself over the years on her entrepreneurial enterprises and on the achievements of her granddaughter.
In addition to her devoted husband of nearly sixty years, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David Kalman and Tina Buchs, her beloved granddaughter, Rachel Kalman and grand canine, Cassidy all of Beverly, her brother and sister-in-law, Joel and Roberta Chase and their daughters, Marcie and Karen and their families all of Marietta, Georgia and a niece, Audrey Brown of Wellfleet.
Her funeral services will be held on Monday in the Central Cemetery, Beverly at 1:15 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot Street, Beverly from 12 – 1 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice.
