Dartmouth – Harry Johnson, 57, of N. Dartmouth passed away at home March 2, 2010. He was the husband of Jeannine L. (Carrier) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was born in New Bedford, son of Elaine A. (Fischer) Johnson and the late James Johnson, and resided in the greater New Bedford area all of his life. He was a graduate of New Bedford Vocational School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was employed for many years by Raytheon and presently by RDS Equipment, Dartmouth. An avid sportsman, his interests included hunting, fishing, archery and boating.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by his daughters: Jessica L. Johnson and Rachel E. Johnson both of Fall River; 4 sisters: Janice Viera of FL, Diane Medeiros of New Bedford, Helen Brown of VA, and Christine Croteau of NH; 5 brothers: Arthur Johnson of CT, Daniel Johnson of CA, Thomas Johnson (his identical twin) of Wareham, Maurice Johnson of NH and Ralph Johnson of NH; a grandson: Liam J. Johnson of Fall River; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late James “Sonny” Johnson, Jr.
