Steven R.Keates, 63, of Putnam Heights Road, Glocester, a retired Insurance Appraiser for Amica Insurance Company, died Wednesday, March 03, 2010 at Day Kimball Hospital. He was the husband of Lesley A.(Clark)Keates.
Born in Whitefield, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late Nelson and Lillian (Clark) Keates. He had been a resident of Chepachet since 1979.
Steven was an avid outdoorsman, loving to hunt, fish and ride his Harley. He was a lifelong hockey player and member of the Smithfield Men’s Hockey League and the Rhody Oldies Hockey Team.
Besides his beloved wife he is survived by his loving daughters, Kristine Keates Roche of Warwick, Alison L. Stanley of Holliston, MA, and Michaela B. Keates of Brooklyn, CT, and two loving grandchildren, Kassidy and Jaelyn.
His funeral service will be held Saturday at 11am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Private Burial. Visitation Friday 4-7pm.
