Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Monday, March 8 at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Rose Church, 600 Broadway, CHELSEA at 11 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-7 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and residing in Chelsea for most of his life, Oscar passed away at the Whidden Memorial Hospital Monday evening at the age of 44. Until his illness made him unable to work, Oscar worked for over 10 years at Mattarazzo Bros. on Beecham Street, maintenance at the Chelsea Jewish Nursing Home, installer for Warner Cable and as a self employed carpenter.
