Obituary

Sarah M. (Pulsone) Anderson 94, a lifelong town resident, died peacefully Monday March 1, 2010 at the Maples Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham. She was the wife of the late Alfred J. “Andy” Anderson, who died in 1969.
Born in Norwood, November 5, 1915 a daughter of the late Nicholas & Maria (Pulzoto) Pulsone, she was raised and educated in Franklin.
For many years, Mrs. Anderson worked at the former Pipinelle’s Restaurant in Franklin, and retired from there at age 85. She also assisted at town elections, working at the polls on each Election Day for many years.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, and a lifetime communicant of St. Mary’s Church. She was a life member of Quattro Eroi Lodge #1414 Sons of Italy in Franklin. She joined the club at age 15, and was one of its most senior members.
The Anderson family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Maples Nursing Center, for their loving care of their beloved Mother & Grandmother Sarah.
She is survived by two sons; Alfred J. Anderson and his wife Ruth (Stack) Anderson and Bruce J. Anderson and his wife Linda (Pllegri) Anderson of Franklin, two brothers Joseph Pulsone of Franklin, and Nicholas Pulsone of Plainville, a sister Margaret Brescia of Malden, her grandchildren; Scott Anderson & his wife Stacey of Franklin, Christine Ryan and her husband Scott of Northboro, Brian Anderson of Franklin, Lori Krol and her husband Chris of Plainville, and her great grandchildren; Trevor, Megan, Alex, Allie, Maddy & Marshall.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Thursday March 4th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. (www.oterifuneralhome.com), with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church 1 Church Sq. at 10AM.
Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Wednesday March 3rd, from 3-7PM. The Franklin Lodge Sons of Italy, will conduct a ritual service at the funeral home at 7PM.
