WEBSTER/WORCESTER-Charles H. Ainsworth, 62, of Morris St, Webster passed away Monday, March 1 peacefully surrounded by his family.

He was predeceased by his grandson, Louis “Buddy” Gonyou in 2002. He leaves his daughters, Cherie Gonyou of Worcester, Jennifer Barr of Brooklyn, CT and Theresa Zatorski of Griswold, CT, daughters of Shirley Tetreault of Danielson CT. a son, Christopher Ainsworth of Webster, son of Brenda Ainsworth of Worcester, seven grandchildren, Stephanie Gonyou, John Barr, Shirley Gonyou, Dennis Barr, Paige Zatorski, Charlene “Charlie” Stubbert, Cheyenne Zatorski, Jenson Whitmore and great granddaughter, Melanie Westerlind, his son-in-laws, James F. Stubbert, Jack Barr and Timothy Zatorski and a daughter-in-law, Heather Medeiros, four brothers, Walter E. of Exeter, PA, Paul W. and his wife Judy of Monson, Robert M. and his wife Judy of Boise, ID and John H. of Webster, a sister, Eileen E. Hanson of Webster predeceased him in 2003.

He was raised in Danielson, CT by his parents the late Walter E. and Eleanor C. (Hutchinson) of Webster. He resided in Worcester for many years and recently had moved to Webster. He has a long affiliation with Aldersgate United Methodist Church.

Visiting hours will be Saturday, March 6 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester followed by a service at 1:00 PM. Burial will be private.
