Manchester– Michael Richard Olivier, 47, died March 1, 2010 at Catholic Medical Center following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Sacramento CA., on July 18, 1962 the son of Richard and Ethel (Taylor) Olivier.
He attended Manchester West High School.
He served in the Army National Guard.
He had been employed by Cobb Hill Construction in Concord for over 14 years.
He was a great friend and good man to all who knew him.
He enjoyed cooking barbeque and loved his dogs Max and Bear.
He was predeceased by his mother Ethel M. (Taylor) Olivier on November 4,1994.
Family members include his father Richard R. Olivier and his wife Doris (Belanger) Olivier of Manchester, his significant other, Brenda Bucky of Manchester, two sons, Michael Branciforte of Bar Harbor ME., Derek Bucky of Manchester, one daughter, Karysa Olivier of Charlotte NC., four brothers, Joseph R. Olivier of Henniker, Raymond J. Olivier of Pembroke, Orval Dan Olivier of Manchester, Mark Brouillard of Chattanooga TN., one sister Richelle Bernardini of Hudson, three step brothers, Maurice Belanger, Daniel Belanger, both of Manchester, Laurent Belanger of Hudson, three step sisters, Patricia Bell of Swanzey, Lisa Vattis of St. Louis MO., Annette Smith of Manchester, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Services: Calling hours will be Friday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 pm at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Anthony Church, Belmont St.. Committal prayers will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.
