O'Sullivan, Dorothy E. (Joy) of Quincy, died on February 28, 2010 at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Daniel M.O'Sullivan, former Boston Representative. Devoted mother of Dorothy Wasiolek and her husband James of Hanover, Mary O'Sullivan and her husband Mark Keilp of NJ, Dennis O'Sullivan and his wife Christine of Hanover, Kathleen Capeless and her husband Steven of Weymouth and Margaret Linskey and her husband Michael of Braintree. Loving sister of Rita Willard of Quincy and pre-deceased by 9 brothers and sisters. Cherished grandmother of Christopher, Patricia, Kimberly, Maria, Kathleen, Katey, Robert, John, Matthew, Emily and Daniel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy grew up in Dorchester and has been a Quincy resident for the last 41 years. She was a member of the American Legion and the St. Ann Mariann's. She enjoyed knitting, dancing and spending time with her many friends and 11 grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday 3-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, Quincy.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann's Church, Wollaston at 10:00 AM.
Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
