Barbara Ann Zingelmann passed away on Friday February 26, 2010 at St Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan, at the age of 77.
Barbara Ann Zingelmann was born on January 3, 1933 in Nechanitz, Texas to Reinhard Carl Weishuhn and Elsa Marie Tiemann Weishuhn. Barbara enjoyed being with friends and dancing, she also enjoyed being around animals on their farm and sometimes became too fond of them.
Barbara is survived by her Husband, Delvin Zingelmann of La Grange, Daughter Kimberly Hay and her husband, Bryan of Houston. Grandchildren Devin Nelson and husband Josh, of Nechanitz and Kayla Hay of Houston. Great grandchildren, Joshua and Juls Nelson of Nechanitz. Sisters Joyce Morgan of Dallas, Aldine Bernshausen and husband Perry of Giddings.
Brothers-in-law, Milton and Verna Zingelmann of Waldeck and Lawrence and Vera Zingelmann of Houston, along with numerous neices and nephews and many many friends.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents Reinhard and Elsa Weishuhn, daughter Donna Marie Zingelmann Apgar. Sister-in-law Corine Kessler and husband Howard, brother-in-law Marvin Morgan, Brothers-in-law, Albert and June Zingelmann, and Kermit and Gladys Zingelmann
Visitation for Barbara is scheduled for Sunday February 28, 2010 From 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the Fayette Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A prayer service will begin at 6:00 PM.
Funeral services for Barbara are scheduled for Monday March 1, 2010 at 2:00 PM at St Paul Lutheran Church in La Grange.
Internment will follow at the La Grange City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Barbara’s Granddaughter Kayla Hay College Fund, Great-Grandchildren Joshua and Juls Nelson College Fund or St Paul Lutheran Church.
