Edwin R. Teixeira, Jr., 63, of Worcester died Wednesday February 24, 2010 suddenly at St. Vincent's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Edwin R. and Mary (Almeida) Teixeira, he had lived in New Bedford for most of his life before moving to Worcester in 1991.
Mr. Teixeira was formerly employed by Chamberlain Manufacturing in New Bedford, and later by Harpers Payroll Services in Worcester until his retirement last year.
Survivors include his companion Debra (Towner) Teixeira; his son, Edwin R. Teixeira III; his stepchildren, Michael and Jennifer Breault and Kerri Degon; his sons-in-law, John Degon and Eddie Pelevan; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Theresa Duarte and Victor E. Teixeira.
