Obituary

Auburn- Constance F. “Connie” (Adamowicz) Kasheta, 68, of 5 Lexington Avenue, died Friday, Oct. 3, in St. Vincent Hospital.

She leaves her husband of 42 years, Alphonse J. Kasheta; two sons, David J. Kasheta of Mashpee, and James F. Kasheta of Worcester; three grandchildren, Tyler Kasheta of Mashpee, Madison Kasheta of Mashpee, and Hannah Kasheta of Worcester. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Thaddeus and Antoinette (Lupien) Adamowicz, and lived here many years. She graduated from Leicester High School.

Mrs. Kasheta was a Home Care Assistant for the Auburn Senior Citizens Center for 6 years, retiring in May. Previously, she had been a telephone operator and receptionist for the Occupational Training Center for 13 years.

She was a member of North American Martyrs Church.

She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed Cape Cod and had a home in Mashpee.

The funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 7, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in North American Martyrs Church, 8 Wyoma Drive. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
