Mrs. Rose Froio, “Ro” age 74 of Billerica, formerly of Medford died Friday in Saints Memorial Hospital in Lowell. She is the wife of James Froio with whom she shared more than 42 years of marriage. Mrs. Froio was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Sebastiano and Agnes (Luongo) DiGrande. In earlier years she worked as an inspector in the field of computer technology. She was an avid reader and enjoyed knitting, playing computer games and watching television. She was a current communicant of St. Theresa in Billerica and a former communicant of St. Joseph in Medford. Affectionately known as “Pepa” to her loving grandchildren. In addition to her husband Jim she leaves a daughter Jennifer Stanley and her husband Gregg of Dracut and a son, Vincent J. Froio of Billerica. A sister, Josephine Spinosa of Burlington and three grandchildren Amanda, Nicholas & Michael Stanley. Dear sister of the late Tina Oliveri, and Frank DiGrande.
Friends may call Monday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main Street MEDFORD. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Theresa of Lisieux Church, Boston Road, Billerica, Tuesday at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Fox Hill Cemetery, Billerica.
