Loving brother of Anna Garniewicz, Thaddeus Konieczka, Catherine Smigelski and her husband William all of Chelsea, Alfred Konieczka and his wife Alice of Peabody and the late Mary Palladino and Lucy Garniewicz. Brother-in-law of John and Josephine Zajac of Chelsea, Stella McDonald her her late husband James of Chelsea and the late Walter and Anne Bryk. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews including Janice Donovan of Westboro, John Zajac and his wife Diana of Saugus and Marie Sobchuk and her husband Greg of Hanover as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral from the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Monday morning, January 7th at 11 AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut Street, Chelsea at 12 Noon. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-7 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, malden.
