Reina Anne-Marie (Bourbeau) Antwine, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, passed away, surrounded by her beloved family on Saturday, February 13, 2010, at the Prescott House Nursing Center in North Andover. Born on November 7, 1942, she graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1960 and worked for the Lawrence School Department for many years, where she was greatly loved and appreciated by her fellow employees. Reina found peace in her religion and attended mass daily, first at Sacred Heart Church and then St. Patrick’s.
Reina will be greatly missed by her close knit family and is survived by her children Wesley Antwine of Medford, Kimberly Simard of Londonderry, New Hampshire and Nicole O’Leary of Lawrence and their spouses. Her greatest joy in life were her grandchildren, Arianna, Kayla, Liam and Eric. She is also survived by her siblings, Paula Milnick, Norma, wife of Gary Morse and Gilbert Bourbeau and her nieces, Tamara Melnick-Mendoza and Rebecca Melnick and their spouses.
All who ever met Reina knew she was a very special soul, who gave more than she ever received. There will be a missing piece to all our lives now that she is gone, but she will never be forgotten and lives on with her family.

Her funeral mass was celebrated in St. Patrick Church, South Broadway, Lawrence, on Wednesday, February 17, 2010, at 11 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover, on Tuesday, February 16, 2010, from 4 to 8 PM. Burial was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover.
