BOSTON…Holly L. Sarlo, 35, passed away Monday January 11, 2010 after a brief illness.
She was born in Fall River a daughter of James and Debra (Raposa) Mello of Fall River and Michael J. and Dawn Sarlo of Swansea.
She was employed as a waitress at Terra Nostra Restaurant in Fall River and as a telemarketer for Big Dog Mailing of Fall River.
She enjoyed playing bingo, was a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots Fan.
She played softball, basketball while in High School and played basketball for CYO.
Survivors include her parents, Step-grandparents: Mr. & Mrs. Walter Mello, paternal grandmother: Leona (Anctil) Sarlo, 4 brothers: Michael J. Sarlo Jr. of Framingham MA, Jonathan M. Sarlo, Jared Mello, and Aaron Mello all of Fall River, 4 nephews, 1 niece, several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was the granddaughter of the late Manuel and Hilda (Tavares) Raposa and the late Joseph Sarlo.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be held Friday at 8AM from the South Coast Funeral Home 1555 Pleasant St Fall River, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9AM at STS Peter & Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church Pulaski St Fall River.
