Dora (Venditti) Nocella, 89 of Somerville died Monday in the Somerville Hospital Somerville, MA.
Born in Cambridge, she lived in Somerville for the past 60 years and was the daughter of the late Olindo and Giovanna (Marsigli) Venditti.
Mrs. Novella was a home maker and late member of the Ralph and Jen Community Center, in Somerville
Beloved wife of the late Albert Nocella. Devoted mother of Rosemarie Lavore and her husband Philip, Alberta Szathmary and her husband Murray all of Somerville, Carol Metrano and her husband Lee of Reading, Rita Gilson and her husband Robert of Wakefield, Linda Marino and her husband Francis of Bedford, Nancy Angelesco and her husband Connie of Medford. Also survived by 17 loving grandchildren and 18 loving great grandchildren. Sister of Eleanor DiNitto of Somerville, and John Venditti of Burlington.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford St., Somerville, at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 9.
Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
