Alleta Kay Weedon, 62, Clarksville, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, at Clarksville Nursing & Rehab. The funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday and from 11:00 PM until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born Dec. 11, 1947 in Carbondale, IL, the daughter of Arthur Bean and Margaret Lewis Bean. She was a Methodist and homemaker. She is survived by three sons Timothy Weedon(Regina) of Clarksville, Roy Weedon(Robbie) of Valdosta, GA, Douglas Weedon of Clarksville, one brother Jesse Bean(Karen) of Peoria, IL, two sisters Sharon(Jean) Pierce(Willie) of Pekin, IL. Sheila Bean of Peoria, IL. and four grandchildren. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
