GERALDINE C. (HATCH) "GERRY" JONES, of Hingham, died on Wednesday, Feb. 10th, 2010 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth at the age of 90. She was born in Hingham and was a lifelong resident of the town. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Gerry lived for her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Wife of the late E. Gardner Jones, she leaves her son Edward G. Jones of Hingham, and daughter Blanche L. Whitman of Cohasset. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Aunt of Charles E. Hatch of Hingham, Earl W. Hatch of Oklahoma, Arlene E. Hatch-Magner of Hingham and the late Bela E. Hatch, Jr. Gerry was predeceased by her brother, Bela E. Hatch, Sr.
In accordance with Gerry's wishes, her funeral services and interment are to be private. Rather than flowers, donations in her memory would be appreciated to the Hingham Firefighter's Assoc., 339 Main St., Hingham, MA 02043.
