Kenneth A. O'Neil, 65, of New Bedford died Monday Septemebr 29, 2003 at St. Luke's Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Earl and Beatrice (Bibeau) O'Neil, he lived in New Bedford all of his life.
Mr. O'Neil was formerly employed as a cab driver for Town Taxi.
He was a member of the Dirty Dozen Club. Many years ago, he was a driver at the Seekonk Speedway.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Deborah Richard and Bonnie O'Neil, both of New Bedford; 2 brothers, Edgar "Sparky" O'Neil and Eugene "Gene" O'Neil, both of New Bedford; a sister, Ruth "Peggy" Gomes of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Joshua Wagner and Jennifer Richard, both of New Bedford; and many nieces and nephews.
His Committal Service will be held on Friday October 3, 2003 at 11 AM in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are omitted.
