Mrs. Dena E. (Silvia) Ennes, of Taunton, died Wednesday, February 10 in the Life Care Center of Raynham following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Ennes, Jr. for 58 years. She was born 95 years ago in Raynham, the
daughter of the late Manuel and Mary (Munise) Silvia. She was educated in Raynham and had been a Taunton resident for most of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a salesclerk for Benny’s Home and Auto in Raynham for over 30
years. She had previously been employed by Plymouth Rubber in Canton for a number of years. Mrs. Ennes enjoyed spending time with her family, crocheting, doing crossword puzzles and playing cards. She attended St. Ann’s Church in Raynham.
She leaves:
1 son: Edward C. Ennes and his wife, Carol A. of Raynham
1 granddaughter: Susan M. Ennes of Raynham
several nieces and nephews
Mrs. Ennes was also the sister of the late James, Joseph, Charles, Edward, Alfred
and Louis Silvia, Mary Foley and Emily Dube.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay
Street, Taunton, on Tuesday, February 16 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Ann’s Church, Raynham, at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in Pinehill
Cemetery, East Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Expressions of sympathy in her memory may be made to St. Ann’s Church, 660 No. Main St., Raynham, Ma., 02767.
