Obituary

STUART, FL...Casimir S. "Kazy" Iwanski, 84, of Somerset left this world peacefully with his family by his side Monday February 8, 2010. He leaves his loving wife of 59 years, Dolores (Kosinski) Iwanski. He is survived by his children Paul Iwanski, Barbara Henrichon, Judith Iwanski O'Meara, Air Force Colonel John Iwanski, two grandsons Dr. Jesse Iwanski, Alec Iwanski , 2 sisters: Mary Pallotta and Jane Pelczarski. He was the brother of the late Edward, the late Eugene and the late Alfred Iwanski. Mr. Iwanski was a W.W. II veteran and was an Inspector for the U.S.D.A for 35 years in Boston. Kazy was well known throughout the community and an active member of St. Stanislaus Parish in Fall River, MA. He held leadership positions in many church and fraternal organizations including eight years as President of the St. Stans Seniors and was a Past Commander of the Polish American War Veterans. Kazy enriched the life of everyone he met with a ready smile and a word of wisdom or comfort. A friend to everyone who met him, he will be missed. Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited to will be held Saturday at 9Am from the BOYKO MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME 709 Broadway Fall River followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, Rockland Street, Fall River. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River. Calling Hours Friday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to St. Stanislaus School Endowment Fund 37 Rockland Street P.O.
