Evelyn A. Alleyne age 76 of S. Easton, former longtime resident of Canton passed away at the New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton February 10th. Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston Schools. She worked for Boston Envelope in Quality Control and also worked for GTE Government Systems and volunteered for the Canton Town Hall. She has lived in Easton since 2002 and previously lived in Canton for 32 years. Beloved wife of the late Herbert N. Sr. Mother of Herbert N. Jr. his wife Stacey of S. Easton, Bruce M. of Concord, NH & Stacey A. Pacini & her husband David of S. Easton. Sister of Robert Allen of FL & the late Myrtle Yancey & Marie Lewis. Also survived by 10 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 2-5 pm. Funeral service at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church 91 Center St. Easton Monday morning at 10. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery.
