Obituary

Amherst– Lillian K. Korona, 93, died February 9, 2010 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Nashua following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on August 22, 1916 the daughter of Frank and Maria (Juszczak) Kolodziejczyk. She lived most of her life in Manchester, before residing in Amherst the past three years.
She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, class of 1934A.
Mrs. Korona was a communicant of Holy Trinity Cathedral and held membership in the Women’s Society for the Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament, the Maria Konopnickiej Society and the Holy Trinity Seniors.
Prior to her retirement she had been employed in the insurance industry with the National Life Insurance Company and thereafter for many years as a secretary and assistant treasurer of the Robert P. Burroughs Company. She enjoyed gardening, bowling, and spending time with her late husband of 65 years, John J. Korona, who died on September 26, 2006.
Family members include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: There will be a calling hour on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Goffstown at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Holy Trinity Cathedral Restoration Fund, 166 Pearl St. Manchester, NH 03104.
