Mrs. Lydia Harward Frazier, 101, of Ellerbe, died Feb. 7, 2010 in Woodland Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Rourke Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe with Rev. John Stone officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlake United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Frazier was born in Stanly County on Oct. 22, 1908. Following graduation from high school, she married the late John Marshall Frazier in 1925. She was a charter member of Rourke Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Aileen Frazier Cox.
She is survived by three sons, Clarence L. Frazier of Raleigh and James V. Frazier of Asheboro, L. ‘Jack’ Frazier of Rockingham; one brother, Dunlap Harward of Norwood; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Rourke Presbyterian Church.
