Frena Ann Jarosz of Dunbarton, NH, died Monday February 8, 2010 at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. Frena was born July 17, 1951, in Manchester, NH.
It is with great sadness that we say good-bye to a friend and colleague, Frena Ann Jarosz. Frena was a kind, sensitive woman who loved her family very much. She had a great love for all animals, especially horses. She was quick witted and had a vivid memory for detail. She loved a practical joke and enjoyed the challenge of a good crossword puzzle. She received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Medical Technology from Notre Dame College.
Her work in the lab, especially microbiology, was her passion. She was an employee of Parkland Medical Center for over 35 years, where she worked as Microbiology Supervisor in the Laboratory. She was happiest when she was busy assisting physicians, and helping to improve the quality of life of others. She was surrounded by people who loved her and will be greatly missed by her friends and co-workers.
In addition to her many friends, she leaves behind an aunt, Madelyn Covell and many cousins. She was predeceased by her mother, Malvina Jarosz and her father, Russell Jarosz, several aunts and uncles, as well as her best friend and colleague, Barbara T. DiLorenzo.
Calling hours will be Friday, February 12th from 2-4 at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium in Derry. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 4p.m. Donations in memory of Frena may be directed to the Humane Society of New Hampshire, P.O. Box 572, Laconia NH 03246.
