Obituary

Philip Murray Aidt, 84, died February 7, 2010 at his home in Montgomery County, he was a long time resident of Towson, Maryland, where he and his wife Anita lived and shared 58 years of marriage. Mr. Aidt graduated from Towson Catholic High School, Loyola College and honorably served as a cryptologist for the United States Navy from 1944 to 1946 in Hawaii. After serving his country he worked as a control chemist for Glidden Company in Baltimore and later as an analytical chemist for the Army Chemical Center in Edgewood. After many years of working as a chemist at Penniman and Browne in Baltimore, he was promoted to the postion of President, and later retired to happily spend the rest of his days with his devoted wife and family.
In addition to his loving wife Anita, he is survived by his daughters Anita Guy and Barbara Miller, son-in-laws, Gary Guy and John Miller; grandchildren, Gary, Christopher and Helen and dear sister-in-law Elizabeth Machacek and two loving nieces.

Friends may call a the Funeral Home on Friday, February 12th from 4 to 7p.m. All are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Saturday, February 13th at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Towson at 10a.m. Interment in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
