Jerry D. Kloucek

...bus driver, electronics technician, country ballroom dancer; 64

DUNSTABLE - Jerry D. Kloucek, 64, a resident of Dunstable for 20 years, died peacefullyin his sleep, Sunday, Sept. 28, in Manchester, NH. He was the husband for38 years of Irene L. (Perry) Kloucek, who died on July 22, 2001.

He was born in Wagner, South Dakota, on March 25, 1939, the son of the late Edward andBertha Ann (Krsnak) Kloucek. He lived in Billerica for two decades before moving to Dunstablein 1983.

Upon graduation from high school, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Fire Control (weapons)Technician 3c.

He graduated from the I.T.T. Technical School in Boston, and was employed in the electronicsindustry throughout his working career. He had also worked as a bus driver for the Lowellschool system.

He was active in Country and Western ballroom dancing, was a fan of country western music, andespecially enjoyed time with his family and friends.

He is survived by a daughter, Jerene M. Kloucek of Litchfield, NH; a son and daughter-in-law,Edward F. and his wife Sharon (Roberge) Kloucek of Dunstable, and thier son Christopher Sampaio; one sister, Jo-Ann Dinges ofAmarillo, TX; and many aunts, uncles andcousins who remained in the Mid-Western states.

His Funeral Mass was held Friday, Oct. 3, in St. William’s Church. Interment was in Center Cemetery, Dunstable.

In lieu of flowers,memorials to the Lowell General Cancer Center, 295 Varnum Ave., Lowell, MA 01854 will beappreciated.
