Worcester- An Van Tran, 30, of 407 Granite Street, died Saturday, September 27.
He leaves his wife of 5 years, Thuy Thi Nguyen; a son, Andrew Phu “Junior” Tran of Worcester; a daughter, Annastacia Nhan Tran of Worcester; his parents, Hung Van Tran and Tot Thi (Ngo) Tran of Worcester; three brothers, Ke Van Tran of Webster, Au Van Tran and Phung Van Tran, both of Worcester; a sister, Lai Thi Tran of Mesa, Arizona; nephews and nieces. He was born in Vietnam, and moved here in 1979.
He graduated from North High School and Assumption College.
Mr. Tran was an accountant at M.F.S. Investment Company in Boston for the past 3 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of Vilna Parish.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, in the funeral home.
