Maggie Lee McDonald, 79, of Fitzgerald died Saturday, September 27, 2003, at Fitzgerald Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Tuesday, September 31, 2003, at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. Loy Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Abba Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Monday.
Mrs. McDonald was born March 3, 1924, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Fred Moffit and Maggie Hopkins Moffit. She was the widow of the late Bill McDonald. She was a homemaker and lived in the community most of her life, but was a former resident of Greer, SC.
Mrs. McDonald is survived by one Son: William R. McDonald, Easley, SC; one daughter: Margie Peek, Fitzgerald; one brother: Marvin Moffit, Frenchlick, Indiana; 9 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
