Diane S. (Willis) Veitch, 53, of Whitman passed away peacefully on Thursday February 4th , with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Donald H. Veitch who passed away on, October 2, 2009. Diane was the daughter of Harold Willis and Carole (Barstow) DesLauriers , both of Whitman.
She was born in Brockton, grew up in Easton and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School in Easton class of 1974.
She was a Whitman resident for the past 22 years.
Diane was a warranty administrator in the automotive field for many years and for the past 14 years she has worked at Wal-Mart in Avon. She was a person who loved her family, her home and her pets.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother Edward Willis and his wife Heather of North Easton, her nephews Kyle Willis and his wife Cara of Brookline and Jordan Willis of North Easton and several cousins.
Her services will be held on Tuesday February 9th at 10:00AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will be in the MA VA National Cemetery in Bourne, MA., at 12:30PM.Visitation will be held on Monday February 8th from 3:00-7:00PM
