Sanbornton--- Rene C. Vincent, 81, of 406 Stage Road, died at the C.R.V.N.A. Hospice House, Concord on Wednesday, February 3, 2010.
Mr. Vincent was born October 20, 1928 in Taunton, Mass., the son of Azarias and Florida (Letourneau) Vincent. Mr. Vincent attended LaSalette Seminary in Enfield, N.H. and later served in the U. S. Army. He received is engineering degree from Texas Tech. and later received his degree in robotics from Antioch College in Keene, N.H. He was a longtime resident of Gilmanton before moving to Sanbornton seventeen years ago.
Mr. Vincent was a self-employed engineer and was the author of “The Archangel Project”. He enjoyed travelling all over the world.
Survivors include his wife, Monna A. (Sweet) Vincent, of Sanbornton; a son, Michael K. Vincent, Sr., of Laconia; two stepsons, Ray Booska of Colebrook and Percy Booska, Jr. of Belmont; one stepdaughter, Linda Sweet, of Belmont; two grandchildren, Michael K. Vincent, Jr., of Laconia and Deirdre Leavitt of Casa Grande, Arizona; two step grandchildren, Cynthia Paradise of Belmont and Matthew Fligg of Sanbornton; several great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
According to his wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the C.R.V.N.A. Hospice House, 240 Pleasant Street, Laconia, and N. H. 03301.
