Dear sister of Zoraida, Briceida, Milton, and Minerva. Loving grandmother of Nicole R. Peta, Francesco R. Peta and his wife Marlene. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Volk Leber Funeral Home 789 Teaneck Road – Teaneck, NJ. A service will commence on Monday at the funeral home at 9AM, then to St. Anastasia’s RCC in Teaneck for a Mass of Christian burial at 11AM. Visitation will be this Sunday 2-4 & 6-9PM. Lydia will be remembered by many local residents as “Grandma Lili”. She was a retired Executive Secretary for American Baptist Churches in NYC. Also, a member of St. Anastasia’s Parish, YMCA of Hackensack, NJ and Silent Unity. Donations in her memory would be appreciated to: NJ Special Olympics, The Seeing Eye, Inc. or the charity of choice.
