Obituary

WORCESTER-James J. Fleming, 61, passed away Tuesday, February 2 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home.

He leaves his mother, Helen S. (Siemienski) Fleming of Worcester; two brothers, John T. Fleming of Worcester and Edmund W. Fleming of Cheswich, PA; two sisters, Kathleen S. Milano of Littleton, CO and Diane J. Potter of Barre and nine nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Jeffrey R. Fleming.

He was born in Worcester the son of the late James M. Fleming and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. He was a highly decorated Vietnam War veteran serving in the Army. Jim worked as an installer for New England Telephone. He enjoyed his family and friends. Jim had a particular charisma that endeared him to everyone he met. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

The funeral will be Saturday, February 6 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June St. Interment with military honors will be in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Massachusetts Veteran’s Shelter, 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605.
