TAUNTON – Donald J. Enos, former husband of Evelyn (Silvia) Enos, died at Taunton Nursing Home on Feb. 1, 2010.
He was 81.
Born in Taunton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary L. (Dias) Enos.
Raised and educated in Taunton, Mr. Enos later served in the U.S. Navy during WW II, and was subsequently employed by Enos Metals and the former Armor Bronze, before retiring many years ago.
He was a communicant of the former Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a member of the VFW, Post 611, and the former American Legion Post 103.
Besides his former wife of Taunton, he leaves a son, Michael Enos of Taunton; four daughters, Joanne Lynch of Taunton, Dianne Underwood and Tracy Enos, both of FL, and Kimberly Enos Levesque of Dighton; a brother Joseph Enos of Taunton; a sister, Jeannette Hutchins of Raynham; seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Dorothy Paige, Lou Ann Rowe, and Elizabeth Worley.
Calling Hours will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Taunton on Friday Feb. 5th from 3 to 6 p.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Interment will be private.
