SPENCER: Aaron T. van Gerven, 30 of 126 Charlton Rd., died suddenly, Saturday, Jan. 30.
He leaves his parents Donna M. (Dumore) van Gerven of Spencer , his father Virgil P. van Gerven and his step mother Kim of Brimfield, two brothers Brian H. Bean and his wife Louann of E.Brookfield and Michael A. Bean and his wife Lisa of Worcester, three sisters Shelley M. Miranda and her husband Johnny of N.Brookfield, Traci L. Avila and her husband Jim of Gilbertville and his beloved sister Vanessa L. van Gerven of Worcester, two step sisters Ashley Mangru and her husband Danny of West Palm Beach, Fl., and Chelsea Norkaitis of Sturbridge, his longtime girl friend Carrie Macleod and her sons Dylan Macleod and Derek Edtl of Spencer, his maternal grandmother Evelyn Conte and her husband Robert of Spencer, nieces and nephews Billy, Dillon, Alexa, Marissa, Caitlyn, Devon, Joseph and Michael and many aunts, uncles and cousins both here and in Holland. He is predeceased by his grandmother Ludwina van Gerven.
Aaron was a self employed and accomplished mason for the past 15 years. He graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational School in Charlton, Class of 1997. His passion was music. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, Feb. 3rd. from 4 to 7p.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer.
